Located on the west coast of Newfoundland, Humber Valley Resort is only 5 and a half hours from Gatwick on the twice weekly charter direct to Deer Lake Airport (seasonal). In addition to the amenities available on the Resort (golf course, health spa etc), the property is situated at the heart of an unspoiled region that offers many opportunities for adventure and exploration in both summer and winter.  In particular, it is only a 10 minute drive from Marble Mountain, described by Canadian Olympian Nancy Green as the best ski hill in Canada, east of the Rockies.

The chalet is built over 3 levels. The main, upper ground, floor contains the main living spaces with spacious open plan lounge, dining and kitchen areas complete with a towering cathedral ceiling in the living area.  Also on this floor is a disabled adapted bedroom and en-suite bathroom with wheel-in shower cubicle.  Both the living area and the bedroom open onto the extensive upper deck which offers outside seating and views through the woods over the lake. The dining area opens to a separate smaller deck area.  Linking the inside space to the carport is a mudroom and laundry with flat, wheel-in access from the carport.

The upper, second storey, level contains the spacious master bedroom suite with en-suite bathroom, complete with Jacuzzi bath, and walk-in closet.  The master bedroom opens onto an extensive deck area which links the house to the upper level of the garage.  On this level there is also a second en-suite bedroom with walk-in closet and an intimate lounge area over-looking the main living room.

The lower ground floor contains two large bedroom suites complete with en-suite bathrooms and large walk-in closets, a second large living room and a wet bar area with sink, refrigerator, microwave and storage space for crockery and cutlery.  All rooms on this level open onto the lower deck area which houses the hot tub and provides easy access to the lower parts of the property and the lake shore.  The upper and lower decks are joined by a ramp which allows disabled access to the lower level and the hot tub.

The property also contains a large, oversized single garage complete with undeveloped space above which offers purchasers the opportunity to finish it to their own specification- nanny/granny apartment, games room, play room etc.  The garage is accessible undercover across the carport which links the two buildings.  There is also extensive parking for additional vehicles.
