Boathouse Cottage, Llanfoist, Monmouthshire
Boathouse Cottage is a Grade 2 listed building nestling on the banks of Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal in the Brecon Beacons National Park and is part of the Blaenavon World Heritage Site. This delightful wharfinger’s cottage is steeped in history and sits at the edge of 13 acres of its own private broadleaf woodland with oak, ash and beech in abundance. The woodland is designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest and slopes steeply up the side of the Blorenge Mountain.
